"The man picked by the John McCain campaign to run the 2008 Republican National Convention resigned Saturday after a report that his lobbying firm used to represent the military regime in Myanmar"

This is an example of the apathy and/or support of rogue ethnic cleansing regimes Mr. McCain exhibits.  He doesn't care about human rights or democracy.  For John McCain, politics and profits rein over human rights.  This is the ONLY foreign policy "experience" Mr. McCain has under his belt.  He only knows how to bring injustice and occupation onto innocent civilian populations from Iraq to Vietnam.

If Mr. McCain can't even pick an ethically sound person to host the RNC, who the hell will he pick for Secretary of State?  Alvaro Uribe?! (President of Colombia's ethnic cleansing regime)

Finally, the media needs to open their eyes and hearts.  They need to stop recognizing the genocidal junta.  It's called Burma, not Myanmar.

Please think about the people in Burma, ravaged by ethnic cleansing and most recently a cyclone.  The military junta pushed ahead with a referendum despite over a million people being displaced from their homes. 

That's like Lousiana holding elections a few days after Katrina hit.

Finally, to add to the heat on China, why the hell won't they let in international aid workers?  Boycott the Olympics unless they let in aid workers!
